Milan hosts Juventus at the San Siro in a first 1/2-finals game from the Coppa Italia

Milan hosts Juventus at the San Siro in a first 1/2-finals game from the Coppa Italia. Let’s talk a little bit more about this fixture in our soccer matches tomorrow.

Being improved in the last month, because of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’ arrival and the work of Stefano Pioli, Milan are now hoping to reach the Coppa Italia final again. During the 1/4-finals they had to go through Torino and it was not easy. The two teams made a 2-2 draw at the San Siro, which led to extra time. Until the 120th minute Milan scored twice, thanks to Hakan Calhanoglu and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, which allowed them to progress towards the 1/2-finals. Calhanoglu was the hero of the game, because he scored twice and he was the player who equalised for Milan in the 91th minute.

Milan’s fans would be delighted to see the team winning the Coppa Italia this season. The Rossoneri have not won a major trophy since 2011, when they won the Serie A for a last time. It’s not really Milan’s best years right now, but they have a realistic chance to do something good in the Coppa Italia this season.

But against Juventus it won’t be easy on Thursday. The Bianconeri are the number one favourites to win the trophy, although Inter Milan and Napoli are still in the competition, too. Juve reached the 1/2-finals of the Coppa after a convincing 3-1 win over Roma in Turin. Cristiano Ronaldo, Rodrigo Bentancur and Leonardo Bonucci scored for the Old Lady, while Roma were unable to oppose the Serie A champion.

We are pretty much confident that Juventus would like to show good football in this match after suffering a surprise defeat against Hellas Verona in the Serie A. On Saturday Maurizio Sarri’s boys got beaten in Verona, but now they have a chance to show their class again.

In these soccer matches tomorrow we believe that Juventus are favourites against Milan, despite of the fact that the Rossoneri are the home team here. In the same time we must remind you that Milan are being better lately, so have this in mind.
