Christian Streich’s team made a draw in its previous game in the Bundesliga. They hosted Arminia Bielefeld at home, but only got a point after a 2-2 draw. Haberer and Woo-Yeong gave a solid advantage to Freiburg, but in the second half the hosts conceded twice and lost two points at the end.
